For F/W 2010-2011, men seem to be older and more serious... but not common either.
YESTERDAY (on Sunday 24th of January)
My favorite. Lanvin collection was the best. It was very eclectic and very 90's.
On FRIDAY
Classic masculine pieces with the RICK OWENS touch.

COMME DES GARCONS mixes classism and eccentricity
At Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci perseveres in his style both gothic and Classical, mixing masculine pieces with feminine ones. Black and white, transparencies, black tights, skirts and sandals, all mixed with the masculine classic wardrobe.
Compared to his previous collections, this one was rather disappointing. Not enough variety.
I don't really like KVA and this collection confirms my point of view. I was very disapointed by his F/W collection on Friday. Too minimalist, very dark, no style, homogeneous, only one strong point, many checkered shirts, reminiscent of the grunge era in a clean version.
On Saturday, at Dior Homme, Kris van Assche opted for a pseudo-classical style. A little better, but there were more creative designers at Dior... *sigh*
At the contrary, I really appreciate the boxing theme collection of Jean Paul Gaultier on Thursday. Very sexy.
Lots of leather and a highly masculine style.
John Galliano proposed a dual character for his F/W 10-11 collection :

Very good collection too.
